The Minute of Silence
To raise funds and awareness for the ANZAC Appeal we asked Australians to call and pay to listen to a minute of silence on their phones.
The silence they heard was recorded whilst more than 80 serving and former Australian Defence Force members and their families who fought in conflicts including in World War II, Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea and Vietnam observed a minutes silence to remember those who did not come home.
After listening, users were directed to a HTML 5 mobile site that explained the minute of silence further and what it means to veterans, including their powerful recollections.
